At the Station

Ravi needs a train ticket to Lake Town. The station is busy. There is a long line at the ticket desk, but three machines are free. Ravi has not used the machines before. He walks to one and looks at the screen.

Choosing the Trip

First, Ravi chooses English. Then he types “Lake Town.” Two times appear on the screen. He chooses the ten-thirty train. The screen asks for one adult ticket. Ravi checks the day and time before he continues.

Pay and Print

Ravi puts his bank card into the machine. He follows the picture and enters his number. The machine makes a quiet sound. A paper ticket comes out below the screen. Ravi takes the ticket and his card.

Platform Four

The ticket says platform four. Ravi finds the large station sign and follows the arrow. He arrives five minutes early. When the train comes, he checks the name beside the door. It says Lake Town, so he gets on.
