Boxes Next Door
Sara lives in a small apartment building. One Saturday, she sees boxes beside the blue door next to her home. A young man carries a chair up the stairs. He looks tired. Sara learns that his name is Daniel.

Sara makes vegetable soup that evening. She puts some soup in a bowl and takes it next door. Daniel opens the blue door. Sara says, “Welcome to the building.” Daniel thanks her. He has not had time to cook.

Morning at the Bakery
The next morning, Sara goes to the bakery. Daniel is already there. He has the note in his hand and bread in his bag. They walk home together. At the blue door, Daniel returns the clean soup bowl with a smile.
