Market Morning
Ben goes to the street market every Friday. He usually takes a strong cloth bag. This Friday, he reaches the fruit stand and finds no bag in his pocket. The bag is still at home, on a chair by the door.
One Paper Bag
Ben buys only a few things. He chooses four apples, two onions, and a loaf of bread. The seller gives him one paper bag. Ben carries it with both hands. He walks slowly because the bag feels thin.
A Small Tear
Near his building, the paper tears at one corner. One apple rolls onto the path. Ben stops it with his shoe. His neighbor helps him carry the food upstairs. Nothing is lost, but Ben wants an easier plan.
Ready by the Door
At home, Ben puts the food away. Then he hangs the cloth bag on a hook beside the door. He puts a second small bag inside it. Next Friday, he sees the bags before he leaves. The market trip is easy again.
