Contribute
You can write the material other people learn from.
Propose words, questions, grammar explanations, examples and articles — and media, where a staffed lane allows it. Nothing publishes on its own: every submission waits for a qualified human moderator.
What is open
If your language is not listed, nobody is reviewing it yet.
Languages, material types, media and recording lanes appear only once their review, rights, safety and publishing gates are staffed and enabled.
The process
A draft stays private until you submit it.
- Sign in. The workspace shows the current agreement and only the lanes you are eligible for.
- Write the draft. You can edit or delete it right up until you submit.
- Say where the material came from. Add sources, and confirm you have the right to contribute them.
- Choose named or anonymous credit. You see the exact eligible public preview before confirming.
- Submit. A moderator can approve, reject or ask for changes. Approval and publication are separate governed steps.
Attribution
You keep ownership, and you choose the name on it.
Named credit shows your contributor name, plus a profile link if you ask for one. Anonymous credit does not identify you in public; internal lineage stays available for rights, safety and moderation work.
Moderation is not authorship. A reviewer is never presented as the writer because they approved or corrected a proposal.
Quality and safety
A person makes every decision.
Automatic checks can flag a level that looks wrong, a language mismatch, spam or a safety concern — and when a check is unsure, the item simply waits. Nothing is approved, rejected or published without a reviewer.
- Do not submit private, confidential, infringing or unlawful material.
- Media needs its own rights evidence and a point-of-collection notice.
- Self-reported native proficiency can route your work to the right reviewer. It is not verification by the platform.
- A moderator can retract material later if policy, rights or safety require it.
After you submit
You can correct or withdraw work after a moderator has seen it.
You can also track it, appeal a decision, export it or ask for removal, depending on where the material has reached. The timeline and safe status stay visible even if your account can no longer create new work. See also the privacy details and the safety standards.
